It was a long journey from jetty to Tioman island by ferry..but when we came to the place all tiredness was finished..liquor , beers are ver cheap.. Sand rails, diving , snorkelling , seafoods, and many other adventures...stayed 4days and enjoyed every minutes..we will be back again...

I will give them five stars for the service. Their buffet is incredible, a lot of choices and delicious. Walk along the wonderful beach nearby, and most important to rent a mask for the fishes and corals nearby. There is a diving spot nearby (the rock in front of the beach), so if start to get bored, can rent scuba gear and dive there. They won't change the towels for you unless you request, but i think this is fine. i think every room will have a balcony, so you can sit there enjoy your sunset, have a cup of tea and relax after whole day burning under the sun. No language barrier as their staff can speak chinese, english, malay well, and i guess they could speak japanese too? (reading corner there have a lot of japanese novel) they swept the floor everyday, and problems will be solve at the time you approach. Although no wifi, but it is air-conditioned. Overall, 5 stars.

This summer was my first time to go to an island in Malaysia. I went with my family and because of the different reviews I have seen I was concerned about the quality of the facilities and the food. I have to admit that by the moment we arrived to the island and saw the resort I personally felt more comfortable. I have booked one standard beach front room and another superior deluxe. At my arrival, the resort offered me a free upgrade to a deluxe chalet which was really good. By the time of lunch, I have to say that I was surprised by the good quality and variety of food. Same was for breakfast and dinner. Our snorkeling trip was very enjoyable. My family and I have spent the best holidays ever on this island. A small tip if you are going to sit in Payabeach resort, try to ask their staff about the best place to snorkel in that area which is about 5-7 min walking on the beach. The beach right in front of the chalets is not good for snorkeling.

Good job Payabeach resort! Keep up the good work.

This is one of the best places I visited for a perfect holiday. You can relax listening to the waves and have a soothing massage or get on a boat for Scuba diving or snorkelling among other activities.

This is a perfect place to escape the busy city life, imagine you see no cars and hear no traffic noise, just the sounds of sea waves rushing to the shore and the gentle breeze blowing on your face. Hotel facilities, room and foods are decent consider the price you pay. I will definitely come back again.

My family and I have stayed at Paya Beach Resort several times - we love being able to swim off the beach and snorkel immediately, we find ease in its access to so many shops and restaurants, and even the resort's own buffet isn't bad either (we especially love their charcoal bread)! They're very accommodating; my father wasn't feeling well and the staff kindly packed us generous amounts of porridge from the buffet. Whenever we asked for amenities (like soap and coffee) for the room, our wishes were always granted. The staff here were always smiling and friendly, which we appreciated very much. It was really too bad that some of us weren't feeling well enough to take advantage of the snorkelling tour as part of our package, but we would most definitely come back again to explore more of Tioman. Thanks for taking care of us!

had a great time spending with my family members last weekend in this resort .
We were put in the Superior chalet at new wings and we stayed 3 days 2 nights in this Resort with full board package .
We enjoyed ourselves very much and had a pleasant stay .
The resort is located at Tioman Island station 2, with easy access to ferry jetty , and family facilities.
I love the hotel swimming pool and the beach front with Beautiful Sunset.
At the back of the resort is a nature reserve Enriched with diversity of flora and fauna .
Overall is a enjoyable experience and worth the value .
I would truly suggest those who would want to experience the local hospitality and culture can give it a try to this resort and it will not disappoint you .
Special thanks to the local hotel staffs for attentiveness and helpfulness especially throughout our snorkeling trip .

Good place to really enjoy the sun, sand & the beautiful clear sea. The spa was rejuvernating & the deluxe suite was fabulous. We had a great time & will sure to return for a longer stay!
